Radiotones

Gravel Road

Radiotones is a trio who produce a drivin' brand of acoustic garage blues. Harmonica, bass and National guitar do the bulk of the work on this album. And man do these guys work hard! It's obvious just by listening and seeing the stills of the band. The harp is constantly in evidence (Jim Harcus has to be one of the best), the bass runs right down your throat and Dave Arcari's voice was born blue. Boy oh boy, if you have an ample ability to tap your toes, this one will test you. Non-Stop! Here's what folks are saying. "…accomplished National Steel-bashing garage blues." "Delicious…as evocative of the Caledonian wilderness as of the Mississippi Delta." -Mojo Magazine. " ...post-apocalyptic coffeehouse sound…" -Blues Revue. "This is one hot acoustic trio" -Big City Blues. "A suitably gritty sound as the trio whack out an impressive racket." -Dundee Courier. These won't last long - get one now!
