Left Foot Blue returns with 13 hook-laden song/melody-driven gems that, at once, grab you by the heart and simultaneously draw you to the dance floor. This diverse collection of songs takes you from the roots, drags you through the mud, and then reaches for the heavens. The well-seasoned mix of folk, blues and rock is combined with strong vocals (as provided by all band members, now including Steven D'Hanson as guest percussionist) and powerful messages. The result is a unique collaboration that pleases on many levels. This might just be the best combination of catchy tunes and "edge" that's been heard in these parts for awhile. As usual the artwork is superb and the production values have been well attended to. "When The Bottom Drops Out" is a roots-rock keeper!
