The blues is entrenched in Oscar's DNA, along with a keen fondness and understanding of the music of Jimi Hendrix. He was studying hard rock, blues, and metal guitar techniques when a Blues Epiphany swept over him. Oscar decided that he wanted to play music that was timeless, something that he could grow with. So, he decided to put aside rock and metal guitar tools and commit to the blues exclusively. Mr. Jordan is from Chicago, but this CD covers many blues styles from Jump, West Side Chicago, New Orleans, Acoustic Blues, Jazz-Blues, Urban Blues, and Funk-Blues.
