With a new rhythm section comes an even stronger CD: Share The Sand, featuring 12 passionate instrumentals. Vegas Beach continues to experiment with a quirky mix of at least a dozen genres, creating soundscapes that slip effortlessly between the dark and the light. Surf radio pioneer DJ Phil Dirt featured a track from Share The Sand on his internationally famous Saturday night program: Surf's Up! Phil played "Mexican Pipeline" on his show. Once again, a great-sounding CD. What sets Vegas Beach apart from a lot of modern surf-influenced bands is the strong tunes.
