K.M. Williams brings you a rough and ready brand of raw blues that's bound to boogie and bound for glory! He's got the sound and he's got the spirit. Born 1956, in Clarksville, Texas and raised in Red River County, Texas, his early musical influences included Memphis/Stax recording artists such as Albert King, Wilson Pickett, Slim Harpo and Sam & Dave; as heard late at night on WLAC, Nashville,TN. He also formed a Rockin' Boogie/Blues duo with Texas Washboard player and percussionist WASHBOARD JACKSON called "TRAINRECK" and has since released two critically acclaimed CD's - "THERE'S A TRAINRECK COMIN' (2003) & "THE TRAIN KEEPS A'ROLLIN' (2004). K.M. has also opened for KIM WILSON, WC CLARK, ANDREW "JUNIOR BOY" JONES, ALVIN YOUNGBLOOD HART and CEDELL DAVIS. In 2004, a documentary was filmed on K.M. Williams' life entitled "SANCTIFIED BOOGIE". Mr. Williams is ready to sing & play the Gospel and The Texas Country Blues/Boogie to anyone willing to listen, anywhere and anytime!
